Jose Olmos was arraigned on Monday for murder after the body was found in the driveway of the building on Friday morning.

Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr., announced that he appeared in New Rochelle City Court and was charged with second-degree murder of the 66-year-old woman.

Scarpino said that between 3:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Friday, July 27, Olmos murdered Nurten Seljuk near the Armory. It was determined that her cause of death was from blunt force trauma. Her body was found shortly afterward on Friday morning.

Olmos was arrested early on Saturday morning.

Police said that neither Olmos nor Seljuk had a permanent address.

Olmos was remanded into custody and is due to appear in New Rochelle City Court again on Friday, Aug. 3.
